This Sunday MorningThis Sunday, July 6 Dr. Stuart D. Broberg, interim pastor at First Presbyterian Church, will be preaching at the 10:45 a.m. worship service. His sermon is titled "Nation of Immigrants," with the Scripture reading from Ephesians 2:11-22.
Sunday School Start each Sunday with praise and devotions at 9:15 a.m. in the Chapel. Then from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday School classes for adults, young adults, youth and children gather to study God's word. Child care is available for infants and toddlers during Sunday School classes and the service.
Mission Trip to Honduras July 5-15
First Church plans to send a short-term mission team along with a group from North Way Community Church to work with missionary Lisa Anderson-Umaņa in Honduras this summer. The dates for the trip are July 5-15, and the estimated cost is $1,300 plus airfare (approximately $850). Mission team members will work at Camp Villa Garcia and AFE School. Prayer Vigil July 12 & 13
The next First Presbyterian Church 24-hour prayer vigil is planned for the weekend of July 12 and 13, with the focus on our Pastor Nominating Committee and this fall's Spiritual Renewal weekend.
Pirates Game July 13
First Church teens and chaperones will be attending the July 13 Pirates game with St. Louis at 1:30 p.m. at PNC Park. Tickets are on a first-come-first-served basis. Please call the church office, 412-471-3436, for more information.
