Our Missions and World Outreach

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

Matthew 28:19-20

Throughout its 234-year history, the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh has been dedicated to the mission work of Christ's church. Today, First Church supports Christ's work by more than 50 organizations and missionaries in this city, the U.S.A. and around the world, and members of our congregation are involved through prayer, volunteer work, financial contributions and/or mission service. And each year in the spring, First Church hosts a weekend-long World Missions Festival that brings together missionaries who share what God is doing around the world.
